Blake finished his professional career overseas in Finland playing for Vassa Sport of the Mestis League.  Before Europe Blake played for the Long Beach Ice Dogs, Pensacola Ice Pilots and the Utah Grizzlies in the ECHL. 

Prior to playing professional he played five years in the Western Hockey League splitting his time between the Portland Winter Hawks and the Prince George Cougars (1998-2003) and was selected by the Atlanta Thrashers in the 4th round of the NHL Draft (2000).  During these years he won two Gold Medals; one at the Canada Winter Games representing Team Alberta and the other at the Four Nations Cup representing Team Canada U-18.  Blake then went on to play in the CIS for St. Francis Xavier X-Men where he scored the winning goal in double overtime to bring the X-Men their first and only National Championship (2004).  He then turned pro. 

 

Blake graduated from SAIT in Calgary AB completing his Bachelor of GIS Degree.  He played for the SAIT Trojans and was instrumental on winning back to back ACAC Gold Medals with the Men’s Hockey Team (2008-2010). 

 

He went on to work with the Lethbridge Hurricanes of the WHL as Head Scout, helping build the team depth chart into one of the best in the WHL.  Blake moved on to work with Uptown Hockey for three seasons as the Western Canadian Player Representative before branching out on his own and started Dynasty Hockey.

During his playing career he won Rookie of the Year (1999), Top Face-off Man (2001) Most Dedicated Player (2003), MVP, League First All-Star Teams (2009 and 2010) and ACAC all Decade Team (2015).

Blake is Owner and President of the Dynasty Hockey Group.  With his background, experience and network he will exceed all expectations.

Brad joined Dynasty Hockey in the summer of 2019 as Vice President and Director of Player Development & Recruiting.

Brad brings an immense hockey background with over 30 years of experience at the NHL, WHL and AJHL levels.  Brad's experience over this time include: Head Western Canada Scout for the Minnesota North Stars and Dallas Stars, General Manager of the Lethbridge Hurricanes and President of the Okotoks Oilers of the AJHL. 

 

Brad has a wealth of hockey knowledge at many levels that will benefit Dynasty clients.

During his scouting and management career he went on to win the Stanley Cup with the Dallas Stars in 1999, WHL Eastern Conference title (Lethbridge Hurricanes) in 2008 and AJHL League Champions (Okotoks Oilers) in 2018.  

While with the Dallas Stars he was instrumental on drafting players such as Mike Modano, Brenden Morrow, Jarome Iginla, Jamie Benn and many more.

Brad will play a huge part of Dynasty Hockey, working with players and families to bring out elite potential on and off the ice.  With his background and experience  he is a huge asset to Dynasty Hockey.
